17 - 31 is where you can hear what sounds like a robot arm hitting the cymbal
32 - 1:00 sounds like a bunch of guitar clippings edited together
1:00 - 1:08 sounds like you used audacity to change the pitch of the hammer offs

Dude, I love the beat and I love mood it could be giving off, which is why I'm going to say you should get some better equipment. I remember I used to use my built in laptop mic to send friends clips of guitar riffs I wrote and when I listened to them myself, I was like, "Wow... I sound like shit..." and that's what they thought to.

But then, I dumped a little money into some decent equipment and now I'm helping write music for a friend's MMORPG. I haven't gotten better at all, in fact I'm still playing some of the old shit that sounded bad.

My only complaint is that in the beginning I can swear I hear Alvin and the Chipmunks singing from inside a glass box. Now, this might only be me but LOL.

Otherwise it's got a laid back tune to it that sounds like it could be the background music for an exploring game like... Dark Cloud.

Nice work with keeping the beat!

I love heavy metal in general, I don't care how simple or complex the instruments are, as long as I can smash some skulls to it.

But lyrics are something that can cause ruin. Your voice is also an instrument and it's often the main key of music and in that chain of thinking, I'm not a big fan of screaming bands who... just don't know how. Practice up.

You know I loved it without the vox. It made me want to throw a basket full of babies into a woodchipper to let their blood flow into the goblet of metal like the nile into the ocean.

This time you've added vox, and the song seems unproportional to the instruments. I can't feel the baby slaying buzz anymore. A little equalization tweaking can fix this, though... so no worries.
